LL’Editions is a publishing imprint collaborating with contemporary artists around the world. Initially founded in 2014, as an offshoot of the design studio Lundgren+Lindqvist, LL’Editions (an acronym for Lundgren+Lindqvist Editions) has since grown into an active publishing venture, releasing a number of editions and books each year. Our editions range from artist’s books and multiples in small numbers to project oriented books and monographs. LL’Editions’ books are often released in both trade editions and in signed and numbered special editions, featuring artist’s treatments, special materials, multiples and prints.

To date, LL’Editions has published books and editions with the following artists/authors: A-FL, Erik Berglin, EKTA (Daniel Götesson), Lundgren+Lindqvist, Kalle Sanner, David Horvitz, Olivia Vander Tuig, Heimo Zobernig, Ryan Gander, Micah Lexier, Jonas Liveröd, Jonathan Monk, Joakim Ojanen, Maurizio Nannucci, Karl Holmqvist, Shannon Ebner, Brad Downey, Igor Ponosov, Simon Iurino, Pieter Laurens Mol and Fiona Banner aka The Vanity Press with essays and texts by Bengt af Klintberg, Henrik Bromander, Amila Puzić, Karl Palmås, Jakob Ojanen, Nina Bondeson, Henrik Björck Wigartz, Mattia Lullini and Alina Vergnano. LL’Editions is currently working on new publications with Alejandro Cesarco, Jonathan Monk, Brad Downey, Kay Rosen and Endre Tót.

Our editions are both sold through this webshop and available from selected retailers, including some of the finest bookshops specialised in books on art and photography around the world.

Our books have been exhibited at the Fotoboksfestival Oslo (Oslo, Norway), the North East Book Exhibition at The White (Tokyo, Japan), MAD 6 (Multiple Art Days) at Fondation Fiminco (Paris, France), The Tokyo Art Book Fair in 2023, The Wall is a Piece of Paper by Micah Lexier at einBuch.haus (Berlin, Germany) and included in the exhibition Published – Photobooks in Sweden at Hasselblad Center (Gothenburg, Sweden). In 2019, Lukas/Markus by Kalle Sanner (LL’Editions & Blackbook Publications) was nominated for the Swedish Photobook Prize. Both Lukas/Markus by Kalle Sanner and The Bird Project 2006-2017 by Erik Berglin have also been part of Svenska Fotobokspriset’s traveling exhibition, in 2019 and 2020 respectively. In 2021, The Bird Project 2006-2017 by Erik Berglin was selected as a winner of Svensk Bokkonst, which has been presented annually since 1933 by the Swedish Book Art Association. The book also won the prestigious Swedish Photobook Prize in 2022. Next to Daisy’s, on top of the Laundy by Joakim Ojanen was also selected as a winner of Svensk Bokkonst, in 2023. Hur Man Knycker Böcker by David Horvitz (co-published with Edition Taube) has been exhibited on numerous occassions, in various cities including Berlin, Tallinn and Rome. Our Leporello Series has also been included in a number of exhibtions, including Maurizio Nannucci’s display at BOOKS Art Book Festival, organised by MAMbo (Museum d’Arte Moderna Bologna) and Jonathan Monk’s Multiple Locations in Milan,  organised in collaboration with miart – the international modern and contemporary art fair in Milano (both in 2023).

In addition to our ow publishing activities, we offer a well curated selected of hard to find vintage books, within the fields of visual art, photography, architecture and graphic design. Often out-of-print and scarce, these rare books come from the shelves of aquatinted artists, book collectors and bibliophiles. Generally, only one copy is available of most vintage titles on offer in our Rare Books section, so it is advisable to act fast if you find something you like.

Our Art Cinema section features hundreds of handpicked films on art and artists. Ranging from artist’s talks and studio visits to feature length documentaries and video works, the films in the Cinema section are collected from a range of sources, such as art galleries and art museums, and available to stream for free. Please note that, with few exceptions, we are neither the authors of nor copyright holders to these videos. Should any of the copyright holders wish to have their video removed, just let us know and we will take immediate care of it.
