Mark Isitt, born on March 22, 1966, in Kungälv, is a Swedish-British architecture critic, author, and journalist, currently active at Göteborgs-Posten. He hosts Stadsinspektionen on Swedish Radio P1, where he travels to various Swedish cities to discuss architecture and urban planning. He has also appeared in the Swedish Television series Hemma hos arkitekten. Since 2020, Isitt has been the host of the Swedish version of Grand Designs and, since 2022, Grand Designs: Årets hus on TV4. Isitt has published a number of books on architecture, and appears frequently in symposiums and conferences about architecture and urban planning. He currently lives in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mark Isitt received the Critics’ Prize from the Swedish Association of Architects in 2018 and the Olle Engkvist Medal in 2020.
